Few deliver results that justify the hiked-up price. Maybelline’s new One by One Volum’ Express mascara trumps the usual drugstore brands with a gimmick-free, thoughtfully designed wand. It touts denser, thinner bristles than the typical brush and a slightly rounded shape to sweep long lashes upward while eliminating clumping. The new line is available in three washable and two waterproof shades.
